A Virginia woman who died after she was dropped off at an emergency room by a Redskins player had a fatal dose of fentanyl in her system.
According to a medical examiner’s report, Julia Crabbe, 21, died from a fentanyl overdose in November.
Washington Redskins safety Montae Nicholson faces possible criminal charges even though the report stated Crabbe’s manner of death was an accident.
“The manner of death is accident and the cause of death is fentanyl intoxication,” the Medical Examiner told FOX 5 DC.
Crabbe was unresponsive when she was dropped off at the hospital by Nicholson and another man. She had been at Nicholson’s home in Ashburn before she was dropped off.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Nicholson’s home and found pills, marijuana, drug residue in foil, an iPhone and a notebook among other items.
