Lena Waithe‘s same-sex marriage ended because, sources say, she couldn’t stop cheating and buying designer handbags and shoes for side chicks.
The 35-year-old Chicago native announced the end of her same-sex marriage in a joint statement with her ex, Alana Mayo. The two women tied the knot in a San Francisco courthouse in August.
“After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways,” the statement read. “We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time.”
Sources exclusively tell lovebscott.com that their relationship was on the rocks long before they tied the knot because Waithe could not stop cheating.
Waithe was raised by her single mother and grandmother on the South Side of Chicago. Her parents divorced when she was only 3. The male-identified lesbian never knew her father.
