Prince Harry hasn’t seen his wife Meghan Markle in over a week. He reportedly has no plans to reunite with her anytime soon.
Meghan fled London last week after the couple’s bombshell announcement to quit the royal family. She returned to Vancouver where her son, Archie Harrison, was staying with a nanny.
According to Buckingham Palace, Harry, 35, will remain in London to attend more meetings next week.
That means he will not reunite with Meghan and their son Archie, whom he hasn’t seen in nearly 2 weeks.
Queen Elizabeth gave her blessings for her grandson Harry and his wife to “step back” from their royal duties and divide their time between the UK and Canada. But friends say Megan, 38, will never return to live in the UK.
On Thursday, Harry was seen at Buckingham Palace meeting with young rugby players in preparation for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup for the men’s and women’s wheelchair tournament.
The appearance marked Harry’s first official public outing since his shocking announcement last Wednesday.
Harry dodged questions from the media about his future plans. He was photographed smiling with rugby players while constantly checking his cell phone.
Meanwhile, someone updated the couple’s Instagram account with a video showing the grinning prince behind the scenes.
The video was accompanied by the Stone Roses‘ independent hit “This is the One,” which contains the lyrics “I’d like to leave the country for a month of Sundays.”
