Sandra Bullock is not ready for her kids to go off to college alone. She’s planning to follow them to the college of their choice – as long as the school is on her list of approved locations.
The “Bird Box” star sat down for a chat with Interview magazine and fellow actress and pal Jennifer Aniston. According to WENN.com, Bullock opened up about her concerns that the world may not be as kind to her son Louis Bardo Bullock, 10, and seven-year-old daughter Laila Bullock.
The proud Mummy is pictured with Laila, Louis and her current boyfriend, Bryan Randall.
“I look at everyone who is trying to raise kids, and I go, ‘How are we supposed to raise children outside of a bubble? And, show them the difference between right and wrong, and what kindness looks like, when it’s really hard to find it with all the noise on a screen?'” she said, before adding “Screens are everywhere.”
Sandra, who adopted Louis and Laila when they were infants, said she will follow them to any school on her pre-approved list of colleges to protect them from the harsh reality of life outside her bubble.
“I gave them the places where they can go to college because that’s where Mummy feels comfortable living,” the 55-year-old actress explained. “I said, ‘You can go to these three colleges because I’m going to buy an apartment down the street.'”
She added: By the time Louis and Laila are at the right ages, it’ll be: I’ll just drive you there every single day. We can even walk and make it a physical experience.”
Aniston, 51, said Bullock should start “building a college at the bottom of the hill right now.”
