It’s Monday morning, and the Internet is still trying to figure out how Blac Chyna walked the red carpet at the 2020 Oscar Awards on Sunday night.
Blac Chyna showed up early and was among the first to walk the red carpet outside the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Her presence stunned the Internet, as she wasn’t a presenter nor a nominee.
The mom-of-two wore a black velvet Dona Matoshi gown with plunging neckline and a bare-all thigh-high slit. The gown was embellished with blue gems and fringe at the shoulders. The 31-year-old wore her short black hair in finger waves.
The Oscar Awards is usually reserved for the elite of the movie industry. There’s a reason why only nominees, presenters and their plus ones are invited to partake of the A-list festivities.
The main reason is the spectacular costs involved in putting together Hollywood’s biggest night of the year. The gift bags alone are said to be worth a quarter of a million dollars!
There are other parties for lessers to attend if they don’t get an invite to the Oscars. The Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar viewing party was well-attended by those who weren’t invited to the big show. Also, the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscars party was packed.
So how did former reality TV personality Blac Chyna, a C-lister at best, wrangle an invite?
My sources tell me Blac Chyna was not invited. She simply showed up and they let her walk the red carpet!
So there you have it: Chyna crashed the Oscars red carpet hours before the event started. How brazen!
