Barack Obama’s brother Malik Obama, also known as Abongo or Roy, is among those targeting new father Anderson Cooper.
The 52-year-old CNN anchor announced his son was delivered by a surrogate last week. Cooper, who is openly homosexual, said he and an ex-boyfriend will raise the child together without a mother.
In a series of tweets on April 30, Malik Obama attacked Cooper.
“How A Man and A Man Have A Baby? HOW!?” Malik tweeted.
“Is He Not Gay (Homosexual)?” he captioned a retweet of a CNN article on Cooper becoming a new dad.
Malik followed up, tweeting: “This Is Abnormal.”
Barack and Malik share the same father. Malik was born in Kenya. He claims his brother was also born in Kenya.

Christian conservatives also attacked Cooper for raising the child without a biological mother.
“A boy deserves his mother, yet if I understand your plan correctly, your son will not be raised together by her and by you. That’s what saddens me the most,” Christian evangelist Michael Brown wrote for Charisma News.
“Can you imagine what your life would look like today without the influence of your mother? Can you imagine Anderson Cooper without Gloria Vanderbilt?” Brown asked. “Who would you be without your mom?”
