A loyal reader wrote in to express her concerns about an article I wrote about rapper Boosie BadAzz who hired a mature professional female to show his young sons and nephews the ropes.

Hello, I’m emailing you on behalf of your article about the Rapper Boosie. You mentioned in the article “this coming-of-age ritual between father and son is actually common in the Black community” and that is not true and that is degrading to black community! I’d like some action done about this. The men in my family have never sexually groomed any of their young sons. I’ll be taking this to the media as well.
