The coronavirus lockdown has claimed another celebrity couple. Singer Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from her husband of 7 years, Brandon Blackstock.
The pop singer has been self-isolating with Blackstock and their kids at their retreat in Montana for the past eight weeks. But the forced home detention has apparently cost Clarkson her marriage.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Clarkson filed papers in Los Angeles last week.
She married her manager, Blackstock, in 2013 after a whirlwind courtship and they share two children – five-year-old daughter River and 4-year-old son Remington. He also has two teenage kids from his first marriage to Melissa Ashworth.
The news comes weeks after the now-estranged couple put an Encino, California mansion on the market.
