Tracy Morgan is back on the market. The comedian and his former life partner Megan Wollover are headed to divorce court after nearly 5 years of marriage.
“Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce,” Morgan confirmed in a statement to E! News on Wednesday, July 29. “This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy.”
The 51-year-old comedian is the latest victim of the coronavirus pandemic that has wreaked havoc on celebrity marriages over the last 5 months.
This is Morgan’s 2nd divorce. His first marriage to Sabrina Morgan ended in 2009 after 14 years. Their union produced three sons.
Morgan and Wollover, 32, married in 2015 after a June 2014 car crash that nearly claimed his life and killed comedian James McNair.
“After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” Wollover told People after nursing Morgan back to health. “We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it.”
The couple share a 7-year-old daughter named Maven Sonae Morgan.
