Martin Lawrence and his ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs celebrated their youngest daughter Amara Trinity‘s 18th birthday on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Lawrence posted a video of the celebration on Instagram.com. He captioned the video:
“Celebrating my daughter Amara’s 18th birthday!
My daughter @jasmin_lawrence gives an inside look at our family’s celebration of the birthday girl @ponyboiiimusic [cake emoji] #happybirthday #live.”
In another post, he wrote, “My baby girl is 18 today! Man, time flies. I love you, Amara!! Happy Birthday! [heart emojis] #happybirthday #prouddad.”
Lawrence, 55, and Gibbs share two daughters. Lawrence filed for divorce from Gibbs in 2012, citing irreconcilable differences.
He shares eldest daughter, Jasmine Page, with ex-wife, former Miss Virginia USA, Patricia Southall. They divorced in 1997.
Southall is currently married to former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith.
