Dallas rapper Mo3 was shot in the head while driving on I-35 in Oak Cliff Wednesday morning. The rapper who was born Melvin Noble was targeted by the gunman, according to Dallas police.
Cellphone footage uploaded to Instagram shows a medic performing CPR on Noble as he lay on the highway near his car.
Urban Islandz reports Noble was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Noble, who was signed to rapper Boosie‘s label, told an interviewer, “I got a second chance because of music… I’ve basically been in every correctional facility around. Y’all never see the people that throw rocks at me, ’cause they hide their hands. You just see me beat their ass.”
He leaves behind three children.
Noble’s death comes days after Chicago gangster-turned rapper King Von was fatally shot during a fist fight outside a hookah lounge in Atlanta.
