Cardi B filed a motion to dismiss her petition for divorce from her cheating husband, Offset.
TMZ reports Cardi filed docs in Georgia to officially dismiss the divorce she set in motion back in September. Cardi was dragged on social media by fans who accused her of pulling a stunt.
Cardi took to social media recently to deny rumors that her divorce action was just a stunt to keep her relevant amid the coronavirus outbreak. She then deactivated her Twitter account.
She has up to 30 days after deactivation to restore her Twitter account or it will be deleted permanently.
According to TMZ, Cardi filed her dismissal “without prejudice” — which is legal jargon for reserving the right to file the divorce again at a later date.
It’s the second time she’s changed her mind about leaving Offset. Although, she didn’t actually file divorce papers the first time.
A judge still has to sign off on the dismissal to make it final — for now.
