CBS46 confirmed a man was shot in a room at the swanky Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta’s upscale suburb of Buckhead.

Instagram blog Gossip In The City alleges that Slater shot her boyfriend when she caught him in a hotel bathroom texting another women. She reportedly waited for him to leave the bathroom before she gunned him down without warning.

A hotel guest called 911 to report hearing “gunshots” from Slater’s room. First responders observed a pool of blood in the doorway to the hotel room before locating a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the forehead.

The man was “somewhat responsive” and answered questions from police before being transported to a local Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police removed Slater from the hotel room as medics prepared the man for transport because she was “screaming hysterically,” according to the police report.

Slater repeatedly asked police about the victim’s condition. She originally told police she and her “childhood friend” was visiting Atlanta from Chicago when the shooting occurred. She claimed the shooting was accidental.

Slater told an officer that “a gun fell off of a table in the hotel room,” which caused the gun to accidentally discharge, striking the victim in the head.

But police recovered 2 spent shell casings and other evidence in the room that conflicted with Slater’s story about an accidental discharge.

“A projectile was also found by the bathroom door on the carpet and one in the bathroom tub,” according to the police report. “There was one bullet hole in the door jam, and also one in the cabinet top right corner in the bathroom.”

Slater is best known for her song, titled “Try Me” and her debut album, Pretty Psycho.
