NBA legend Dominique Wilkins called out one of Atlanta’s best restaurants for turning him away at the door. Wilkins was apparently out of compliance with the dress code.
Wilkins posted a photo of French restaurant Le Bilboquet and claimed the restaurant was racist racist for denying him entry.
Wilkins tweeted:
“In my many years in the world, I’ve eaten at some of the greatest restaurants in the world, but never have I felt prejudice or been turned away because of the color of my skin, until today in #atlanta.”

Rapper Killer Mike lashed out at the restaurant’s management for not allowing Wilkins to break the rules.
“@lebilboquetatlanta ya’ll better make this lame s**t right. How ya’ll mistreat ‘NIQUE’ @dominiquewilkins21! Ya’ll lame AF for that shawty!”
In reality, Wilkins objected to the fact that Le Bilboquet refused to make an exception for him.
Le Bilboquet is a classy, fine dining restaurant that caters to a well-heeled clientele. The restaurant’s rules apply to everyone.
Your auntie eats there regularly. As you know, I am Black and I have never been turned away at the door. I’ve seen numerous Black celebrities dining at Le Bilboquet and enjoying drinks at the bar/lounge after hours.
Fellow blogger Tami Reed, of Talking With Tami, reviewed the restaurant after we dined there in 2018.
My friend and fellow blogger Sandra Rose invited me out to lunch on Friday afternoon! I must say, she finds the nicest places to dine here in Atlanta. This time we met up at Le Bilboquet located at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. It’s the hottest place to dine in Buckhead and I was so glad that she suggested it.
Please take the time to read more of Tami’s excellent review of Le Bilboquet.
