Rapper Kodak Black trended on Tuesday after saying he wants Donald Trump back in the White House while sending a birthday shout out to the former U.S. president.
Kodak Black was granted clemency by Trump on his last day in office in January. After his sentence was commuted, Kodak thanked Trump and promised to turn his life around.
Trump turned 75 on Monday, June 14, and Kodak was among his supporters wishing him a happy birthday.
Kodak recorded a video in which he wore a MAGA cap that appears to be signed by Trump.
“I would like to see Trump back in office in ’24,” he said, before sending all his love and support to the billionaire developer.
The rapper also chastised youngn’s on the Internet who disapprove of his loyalty: “That just shows that you ain’t a good person. You ain’t loyal,” he said.
Kodak, whose government name is Bill Kapri, received a commutation of his 46-month sentence for falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms in Florida in 2019.
Kodak Black made headlines when he swore he would donate $1 million to charity if Trump set him free from prison early.
“If The President Them Free Me, I’m Gonna Spend 1 million on Charity within The First Year I’m Out. That’s on Everything,” he tweeted on Nov. 27, 2020.
However, Kodak deleted the tweet as soon as he got out.
