Phaedra Parks is the latest celebrity victim of Atlanta’s crime wave. The entertainment lawyer and reality TV personality says her car was broken into at The Shops Of Miami Circle.
The mom-of-two took to Instagram on Thursday, June 3, to explain that her car was broken into by 2 males who stole a backpack containing sentimental items.
“Tonight at exactly 7:02pm during daylight someone (2 guys) broke into my car on Miami Circle exactly 11 minutes after I got out to drop off an item. They jumped through the passenger window and broke my glove compartment which was empty and he took the gold glitter backpack @porsha4real gave to me for my birthday which had my Canon camera in it with my sons recent graduation pictures on the memory card. You can’t see in my car I have 360 limo tint, the items they took are sentimental to me if you have any info please DM me.”
Phaedra’s post included surveillance video that shows a car that the thieves were in.
Miami Circle is Atlanta’s top resource for home renovation, with shops that specialize in everything from antique furniture to lighting and artwork.
The trendy shopping district is located in upscale Buckhead, Atlanta’s wealthiest neighborhood.
Atlanta has seen a spike in violent crime since the Covid lockdowns, when unemployed out-of-towners, flush with cash from stimulus checks and unemployment benefits, moved to the area.
