Singer, songwriter Keri Hilson is still waiting for a good catch after years of fishing in the man pond.
Keri, best known for her debut album In a Perfect World, took to Twitter.com on Tuesday to say she was tired of dating white men.
“I want who God wants for me, but am I wrong for hoping my soulmate is a black man? He don’t even have to be American, I’ve dated 3 non-American black men. But I want to love a black man. Or a man of color… And if he’s neither, he’d have to have a deep understanding & genuine support of my pro-blackness… Anybody feel me?”

The 5-foot-9 beauty’s dating history is littered with emotionally unavailable men, including football player Ricardo Lockette, Trey Songz, Soulja Boy, and Lil’ Wayne.
She was blacklisted from the music industry after a song she wrote contained anti-Beyonce lyrics.
On the single “Turnin’ Me On,” Keri sang:
-
Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best
She can sing, but need to move it to the left
She needs to go have some babies,
She needs to sit down, she fake,
Them other chicks ain’t even worth talking about.
