Kandi Burruss celebrated her eldest daughter Riley‘s 19th birthday by posting throwback pics on Instagram.com.
Kandi, a mother of three, captioned the photo gallery:
“Happy Birthday to my first born @rileyburruss! No matter how grown you get you’re still my baby. I love you so much & Im proud of the woman you are becoming. I hope this year brings you happiness & a lot of “A’s”!”
“I did have some weight loss. I have tried some juice fasts recently. Or, excuse me, ‘juice cleanse’ recently. Yes, I did lose a couple pounds with that. I have been trying to change the way I eat. I’ve been trying intermittent fasting.”
Riley, who is away at college, is 45-year-old Kandi’s firstborn daughter by ex-fiancé Block Spencer.
Kandi, an original member of Xscape, also has a son named Ace, 5, and 19-month-old daughter Blaze Tucker by husband Todd Tocker (via a surrogate).
The reality TV star recently announced she underwent surgery to reduce her breast size. However, her YouTube followers called her out for lying about having her breast implants removed.
Like most women going through perimenopause, Kandi found it difficult to lose weight once her estrogen and progesterone levels decreased.
“Let’s not let all the other diets and stuff that I’ve done confuse you into thinking that that’s what made my boobs get reduced, because it is not, honey!” she said.
