Kodak Black always puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to giving back. The “Feelin’ Peachy” rapper gave away 5,000 turkeys to families in Florida to make sure they have a happy Thanksgiving.
TMZ reports the rapper dropped $14,500 for more than 5,000 turkeys and had his team distribute the frozen birds to underserved families in South Florida communities.
According to Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, Kodak’s turkey giveaway tour made 7 stops in three days, with his team delivering the birds in rental trucks.
The turkeys were distributed to families in the Sistrunk and Sunland neighborhoods, as well as Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, Little Haiti in Miami and of course, the Golden Acres public housing projects in Pompano Beach, where Kodak was raised by his single mom.
Kodak is known for his generosity, which is one of the reasons, former President Donald Trump pardoned him in January.
Through his attorney, Kodak said he wished he could be there in person to hand out the turkeys, but he is focused on completing rehab so he can continue supporting underprivileged neighborhoods.
Good for him.
