Roc Nation singer, Maeta, was bitten by a snake while filming a music video this week. The 21-year-old “Habits” singer shared a video clip of her scary moment on Instagram and Twitter.
She captioned the clip: “What I go through to make videos for y’all.” In a follow-up post, she wrote: “never again.”
In the video, the R&B singer lay on the floor while 2 exotic snakes slithered on her chest. One of the snakes mistook her for a warm furry mouse — a snake’s preferred meal — and bit her on the chin.
Maeta screamed and threw the reptile off of her. The SoundCloud singer signed to Jay-Z‘s label back in April.
Domestic pet snakes typically only bite humans when they feel threatened or they are mistreated (abused) by their handlers.
Meata released her debut EP “Do Not Disturb” in 2019 and “Habits” in May of this year.
