Nick Cannon honored his son Zen in a permanent way by getting an angel tattoo on his ribcage.
The talk show host revealed a framed photo of the tattoo of little Zen wearing halo and wings.
He also shared a video of himself arriving at a tattoo studio this week.
"It was a lot of pain, but it was so well worth it," he said. "I enjoyed every moment of the experience to forever have my son right here on my rib, right here on my side as my angel."
5-month-old Zen died of a brain tumor on Sunday, December 5. Zen was Nick's youngest and seventh child.
He also has twins with singer Mariah Carey, two children with model Brittany Bell, and twin sons with DJ Abby De La Rosa.
Nick, 41, tearfully announced the death of his son on his talk show on Monday. He defended his decision to return to work the next day as a distraction.
He said Zen was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, fluid buildup on the brain that can be caused by a tumor blocking the flow of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain.
Zen’s mom Alyssa Scott, 28, shared a touching tribute on Instagram, posting a video montage of her only son. She also has a daughter from a prior relationship.
