Odell Beckham Jr. is a first-time dad. The 29-year-old L.A. Rams wide receiver welcomed his first child – a boy named Zydn Beckham – with girlfriend Lauren Wood, 28.
He announced his baby’s arrival in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“2-17-22, 0605. THE biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life arrived here on earth! The words, I can’t even put together for the overwhelming emotions that ran thru me … a moment I will never forget and cherish forever. Zydn was born n at that moment I knew my life changed for the better.”
He continued:
“Lauren Wood, u changed my life forever and delivered the most beautiful gift of all… EFFORTLESSLY! Ur strength throughout this gives me the courage to keep goin because i now kno with u by my side and holding it down for me, I can get thru anything. I love u so much.”
The Super Bowl champ said baby Zydn was born on February 17.
Wood, an Instagram model and fitness trainer, first announced her pregnancy in November.
It isn’t clear when they met but they were first spotted together in 2020 when Wood celebrated the NFL star’s birthday.
They later made their red carpet debut in February 2020 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
Odell was previously linked to Canadian rapper Drake, 35, with whom he once shared a home on the West Coast.

In January 2020, Odell was charged with misdemeanor assault for slapping a male cop on his butt. The charge was later dropped.
