TV personality Sharon Osbourne is demanding a $900,000 refund from Black Lives Matter.
Osbourne defended Kanye West amid the ongoing controversy over his “White Lives Matter” shirts.
Kanye was heavily criticized for saying white lives do matter and for calling Black Lives Matter a “scam”.
Osbourne told TMZ that she agreed with Kanye calling the organization a scam.
“Well, we gave $900,000 to that and I’d like my money back,” she said.
Multiple Black Lives Matter leaders have been accused of stealing millions and purchasing mansions and luxury vehicles. with donations.
Patrisse Cullors stepped down as executive director of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation in 2021, after she purchased several properties, including a $6 million house in Studio City.
Another BLM leader Shalomyah Bowers was sued last month for allegedly stealing $10 million from the organization.
Osbourne disagreed that Kanye should be cancelled for speaking his mind.
“I don’t understand why white lives don’t matter,” she said. “I don’t understand it. It’s not my culture. Everybody matters, don’t they?”
Earlier today, Kanye promised to begin selling his controversial WLM t-shirts online tonight, Oct. 7.
