Migos‘ fans who hoped Takeoff‘s death would reunite Offset and Quavo are disappointed to learn they still hate each other.
According to TMZ there is still bad blood between Quavo and Offset following the death of Takeoff. The two rappers reportedly brawled backstage at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
Sources tell TMZ the incident happened just before Quavo took the stage to perform his song “Without You” as a tribute to Takeoff during the “In Memoriam” segment of the show.
According to TMZ, the squabble started when The Grammys asked Offset to be a part of the tribute, but Quavo refused to let him take part.
Quavo and Offset got into a fistfight and had to be pulled apart by security.
Quavo and Offset had gotten close at the time of Takeoff’s murder. The group had split up before the tragedy. Offset sued Quality Control Records to be released from his contract.
Quavo’s “Without You” was a song he specifically wrote for Takeoff — and he didn’t want Offset stealing his shine.
Meanwhile, Offset and his wife Cardi B made blog headlines with their eyebrow-raising display on the red carpet at a pre-Grammy event in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Feb. 4.
The father of 5 and the mom-of-2 tongue wrestled while he gripped her assets with both hands. I’m told event organizers were shocked by the raunchy display.
