Matthew Lawrence, 43, says he and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, 52, are working on making a baby.
The “Brotherly Love” star told Entertainment Tonight that he and the TLC singer want to raise a family.
When asked if he wants children with the mom-of-one, Matthew told ET, “I hope. That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re trying to do.”
Cheryl Burke, veteran dancer on Dancing With the Stars, filed for divorce from Matthew in 2022 after nearly 3 years of marriage.
Their union produced no children, but Matthew is eager to have kids with Chilli.
“My life is in complete bloom right now,” Matthew told ET. “I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli.”
Chilli shares 25-year-old son Tron Austin with retired music producer Dallas Austin.
Matthew said he and Chilli talked on the phone for 6 months before dating seriously late last year. Their relationship was confirmed to PEOPLE in January 2023.
