Chance the Rapper embarrassed his long-suffering wife again. The 30-year-old rapper was seen grinding on women and slapping their butts at Carnival.
In response to the gossip, his wife, Kirsten Corley Bennett posted a quote by Maya Angelou about people who don’t grow up
Kirsten shared an excerpt from the late poet’s book of essays, titled Letter to My Daughter.
The mom-of-2 highlighted the excerpt that best describes her husband:
“Most people don’t grow up. It’s too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it. They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they marry, they have the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up. Not really. They get older. But to grow up costs the earth, the earth. It means you take responsibility for the time you take up, for the space you occupy. It’s serious business. And you find out what it costs us to love and to lose, to dare and to fail. And maybe even more, to succeed.”
Kirsten captioned her post: “I hope one day, we all choose to grow up.”
This isn’t the first time that Chance publicly humiliated the mother of his children.
The rapper, who is rumored to be bisexual, once ‘liked’ a transgender p0rn video on Twitter.
Then Twitter trolls insisted Chance married Kirsten because she was born a boy.
In a since-deleted post on her Instagram Stories, Kirsten explained that Chance ‘liked’ the trans video on Twitter by “accident.”
“Y’all really be reaching,” she said in the video. “He’s never gonna address this, but all I have to say is we were literally at an event last night… So sometimes sh-t happens on accident.”
However, social media users explained that Chance had to view the tweet to like it.
