Beyoncé Knowles-Carter showed up at Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” Concert Movie World Premiere unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Beyonce and Taylor have been friends since Kanye West humiliated Taylor at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He interrupted Taylor’s Video Of The Year acceptance speech to tell her, “I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”
Taylor, 33, wore a powder blue $12,000 Oscar de la Renta gown with open toe heels, while Beyonce, 42, opted for a black bodysuit with a silver chrome breast plate. Taylor posed on the red carpet with Beyoncé after the screening.
Taylor has credited Beyoncé for having “paved the road that every female artist is walking down now,” while Beyoncé praised Taylor in 2021 for “always being so supportive” of her.
Taylor posed with her dancers and 2,200 handpicked fans outside the AMC Grove theater in Los Angeles, California.
The Eras Tour Concert Film is set to hit theaters on Friday, Oct. 13. The movie has grossed over $100 million in pre-sale tickets alone and could have a bigger opening weekend than the Barbie movie.
Beyoncé’s own “Renaissance World Tour” concert movie is coming to theaters soon. She has sold $7 million in pre-sale tickets for her film.
