In this comedy skit, Jada Pinkett Smith (Ego Nwodim) stopped by Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update to promote her book, Worthy, and to dish about her estranged husband Will Smith and her imaginary husband Tupac Shakur.
During the segment, an exhausted Jada (Nwodim) confused the Weekend Update desk for her canceled “Red Table Talk” web series. She told host Michael Che that she was a “little tired” after appearing on “The Today Show” 14 times in 3 days to promote her memoir.
The audience laughed when Jada told Michael, “Nothing makes me feel stronger than publicly cucking my millionaire husband.”
She also said divorce was not an option for her and Will because, “If we got divorced, he could mess around and end up happy, and I can’t have that.”
At the end of the segment, Jada asked Michael to please call her “Mrs. Shakur.”
