Jodie Turner-Smith shared a cryptic quote about “unhealed” people after her ex Joshua Jackson was spotted with newly single actress Lupita Nyong’o.
Earlier this month, Jodie filed for divorce from Joshua after 4 years of marriage. They share a daughter born in April 2020.
In court documents obtained by BuzzFeed, Jodie cited the standard “irreconcilable differences” and stated that she does not want spousal support for herself or Joshua.
The date of their separation was listed as Sept. 13, 2023.
Last week, Lupita Nyong’o announced her split from Selema Masekela on her Instagram Story on Oct. 19.
On Wednesday night, Lupita was spotted having a good time with Joshua at a Janelle Monáe concert.
Jodie posted a cryptic message on Instagram that read, “Everything heals and grows when it is loved well. People, too.”
A few days later, she shared another quote about “unhealed” people.
“An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything someone does. A healed person understands that actions of others has absolutely nothing to do with them. Each day, you get to decide which one you will be.”
Fans speculate that the message was meant for Lupita or Joshua.
An insider told People.com that Jodie and Joshua’s marriage had become “unhealthy.”
“She decided that she is done. It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy.”
