Keke Palmer filed for full custody of her 8-month-old son, Leodis, with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson. Additionally, she filed for a restraining order, alleging that he physical abused her in her own home.

Palmer, 30, has been living a nightmare privately while smiling for the cameras in public.

In July, Sandrarose.com reported exclusively that Palmer was back on the market after she and Jackson had a huge fight and he moved back in with his mother.

The fight occurred after Jackson commented on a sheer outfit that Palmer wore to an Usher concert in Las Vegas on July 4.

Jackson made it clear that he did not approve of Palmer dressing provocatively for other men. “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he tweeted-and-deleted.

In a follow-up tweet, Jackson further chastised Palmer and checked her fans at the same time.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

In her application for a restraining order, Palmer submitted still images from her home security camera that shows Jackson throwing her over a sofa and choking her. Another incident in February 2022 shows Jackson body slamming Palmer on her carpeted stairs.

RadarOnline.com obtained the still images from Palmer’s security footage that she attached to her restraining order petition.

Palmer told the court, “I am very concerned for Leo’s safety with Darius given his violent, volatile, and jealous nature, comments he has made which have caused me grave concern, and the lack of restraint Darius has already exhibited regarding his temper in front of our son.”

Palmer said the abuse began after they started dating in 2021. Like most women in abusive relationships, Palmer probably believed having Jackson’s baby would soften his heart.

“The abuse during our relationship was not just physical, but emotional and manipulative,” she wrote in her petition.

Palmer described classic narcissistic behaviors by Jackson, such as “love bombing” and “ghosting“.

She wrote:

“Darius would “love bomb” me and make me feel like I was the most important woman in the world, only to get extremely distant and cold over a perceived insult to him.”

In her petition, Palmer described violent incidents that occurred in November 2023 and February 2022. The November incident was the last straw for the Emmy Award-winning actress.

Palmer claimed Jackson showed up at her home unannounced before 11 a.m. on November 5, 2023.

She said Jackson burst into her bedroom and demanded to see their son.

After an argument over him taking their son to a football game, Palmer claimed Jackson screamed at her before he “lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backwards over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands, and then ran out of the house.”

Palmer reported the incident to police who advised her to get a restraining order.
