Kanye West snatched a TMZ photographer’s camera after she asked him about his wife, Bianca Censori.
The rapper got into a heated discussion with a photographer named Melanie.
Kanye arrived in a friend’s Ferrari. He wore a black stocking cap over his face.
He was heading toward Charlie Wilson’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony when the incident happened on Monday.
In the video, Melanie asked Ye about his wife, Bianca Censori. He specifically asked him if Bianca has her “free will.”
“People wanna know if Bianca has her free will. Some people are saying you’re controlling,” said Melanie.
That’s when Kanye snatched her phone and went on a 3-minute rant.
“You think you can walk up on me like that? You think because you’re a white woman you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumbass s**t like that? Ask me about my wife, talking about if she’s got free will?”
He continued: “Are you crazy? Are you insane? This is America! You got free will, or do you work for the devil? You got free will? You work for TMZ. I’m a legend, do you understand that? I’m here to support Charlie Wilson, and you come ask me some dumbass s*** about my wife. That’s my wife! You wasn’t asking s**t when I couldn’t see my kids!”
“I just need my phone,” Melanie said meekly.
“Answer the question… I got your phone now… Was that a dumbass, disrespectful question to come ask a grown-ass superhero?!”
He grilled Melanie. “What’s your first and last name?”
She hesitantly responded, “I’m Melanie.” Kanye then said, “What’s your address? What you make a year? I’ll pay you double what they paying you.”
Kanye told his own photographer to get Melanie’s contact information so she can work for him.
It wasn’t his first altercation with the paparazzi. Photographers have sued Kanye in the past for allegedly assaulting them.
One photographer approached Ye while he was in his garage. “Ay good morning Kanye,” he said. In response, Kanye said, “Shut the f**k up.”
