Lenny Kravitz and actress Emily Blunt wore the same unisex Alexander McQueen jumpsuit to separate events.
The Androgynous 59-year-old rock singer wore the high fashion jumpsuit to the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in Beverly Hills. He completed his lewk with Christian Louboutin Aiglissima leather boots and his signature shades.
Emily wore the jumpsuit for her guest appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday, Jan. 11.
The Alexander McQueen jumpsuit debuted in the Fall 2023 Collection.
Lenny (pictured with Hannah Waddingham) played a flamboyant ghey stylist in the fantasy thriller The Hunger Games in 2012.
In an interview with Celebuzz, Lenny explained his bisexual influence in preparing for the role of Cinna.
“I’ll be quite frank with you – I didn’t know about Hunger Games, so when I’m telling kids and they say, ‘Who are you playing?’ and I say Cinna, they go, ‘Oh you’re playing the gay guy.’ That’s how they perceived it.”
He continued:
“So I thought about it, and I read the book and I don’t see that he is or isn’t [gay]. He’s a designer, he’s a stylist, he has gold eyeliner — that doesn’t mean anything either way.”
Lenny said a bisexual friend influenced his role as Cinna.
“I actually have a friend who is a dancer who is bisexual, and he was a lot of inspiration for my speech pattern and my rhythm, and kind of the way I sauntered in and out a little bit.”
