Kandi Burruss reacted to the news that Porsha Williams Guobadia is returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in season 16.
The 47-year-old mom-of-3 spoke with Access Hollywood at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, where she was nominated for Best Reality Star.
Kandi announced her departure from the reality TV series recently.
When asked if she had any regrets, Kandi said, “No. I think I made the right decision.”
But she revealed her reaction to her former costar Porsha Williams Guobadia returning to the Bravo TV series.
Kandi claims she already knew Porsha was returning.
“She and I had already talked. We had both discussed that we were both trying to figure out what we wanted to do,” she said.
Kandi denied reports that she was forced to leave so Porsha could come back. “That wasn’t the case… Bravo was trying to get us both to come back. So it wasn’t an either or situation.”
RHOA’s viewers are excited that Kandi departed the show to make room for new faces to come in.
