NYPD officers are searching for a woman who kicked a puppy kennel and slapped a female customer inside a New York City pet store.

The incident happened at Citipups in the Chelsea neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. Surveillance video shows the angry woman kicking a puppy kennel inside the pet store.

Store employees ordered her to leave.

When the manager tried to record her, the woman attempted to slap his phone out of his hand.

She then knocked a phone out of a customer’s hand and slapped another female customer in the face, leaving her with a bloody nose.

Customers and the manager yelled at the woman before she stomped out of the store.

An NYPD spokesman said police are searching for the woman who appears to be a teenager or in her early 20s.

“The first victim, a 45 year old female, states while she was inside the location looking at puppies an unknown female approached her and proceeded to grab her hand,” the NYPD spokesman said.

“The suspect then knocked the phone out her hand causing pain to the victim’s hand. The second female victim states the suspect slapped her in the face with an open hand causing pain, swelling and bleeding to the victim’s nose.”

“She was bleeding, she had a nosebleed, she was like really distraught because it was her first time in New York,” store manager, Emilio Ortiz told the NY Post. “So she was a tourist, and it’s, like, imagine being your first day in New York, you’re just walking around all of sudden some crazy person just assaults you,” Ortiz added.

The victim said she was visiting from Texas and that the attack was “totally unprovoked.”

If you recognize the attacker in the video, call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
