A video that has gone viral on TikTok shows a young Black woman who is about to be out on the street.
The young woman is seen arguing with her mother who is off-camera.
The mother is putting her daughter out of her house because she’s a lesbian and can’t make babies.
The mother insists that her adult daughter date a man so she can have grandchildren.
“So, I’m supposed to be with somebody that I don’t love so you could be happy?” the daughter asked her mom.
“You damn right!” her mother responds.
“Yes. You gon’ get to steppin’ if you don’t get you a man and come up in here and create me a baby,” the mother responds.
“What am I supposed to do, ma? You want me out of the house because of who I’m dating?” asks the daughter.
The mother explains, “You do whatever you wanna do when you out my house. But long as you in my house, you gon’ have a decent relationship.”
She added: “A man and a woman procreate and they have babies. Not a woman and a woman, Ok? Y’all can’t have babies together. Don’t you understand?
Many commenters on TikTok say mom is right. The daughter should move out and get a job so she can live her lifestyle under her own roof.
“Get out that lady house and go be happy and flourish in your truth,” one user wrote.
“Move out don’t let anyone dictate your happiness,” another person wrote.
A third person added: “Moma is always right. you don’t like it move out.”
