Victoria Monét said she’s no longer bringing her 2-year-old daughter Hazel to red carpet events.
On Wednesday, Victoria, 34, spoke with ET at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
The “On My Mama” singer told ET that the last time she brought Hazel to a red carpet event was a “disaster.”
“The last carpet was a disaster, so I think we’re gonna give it a couple years,” she said.
Hazel was not impressed that she was the youngest nominee in Grammy history.
Victoria won 3 Grammys out of 7 Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album.
She was involved in controversy last month after she claimed to be bisexual while living a heterosexual lifestyle.
In a recent interview with Gayle King, Victoria reiterated that she is bisexual.
The only proof is her 2018 declaration, “Oh, by the way, I like girls.”
The singer was accused of being gay-for-pay, a pejorative term for people who jump on the LGBT+ bandwagon for clout.
