The 34-year-old Jamaican-born singer – real name Kisean Anderson – is being held after a raid on his Florida mansion where cops served a warrant. His mother Janice Turner was arrested at the flashy property, which the singer is renting, and faces eight theft and fraud charges. Kingston was performing a gig for military families when police from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department detained him Thursday night. Earlier in the day, he had reassured fans via social media that he and his mother were fine and the matter was being taken care of by his lawyers. This online booking record shows there is no bail set and no court appearance. His charge is listed as ‘fugitive arrest w/o warrant’. It is understood the raid is linked to a lawsuit filed against Anderson over unpaid payments for a 50k sound system.
