Jennifer Lopez is sounding the alarm about “really scary” artificial intelligence (AI) creating deepfake skincare ads using her face.

Lopez complained about AI creating deepfake ads using her face while attending the Hollywood premiere of her Netflix film “Atlas”.

Lopez, 54, said AI is “selling skincare that I know nothing about” using AI-generated photos of her face covered in “wrinkles.”

“It’s really scary,” she said of the ads. “Right away we had them stealing our faces. So, yes, [AI] is really scary.”

Lopez warned that humans should be respectful of AI because it is capable of causing a mass extinction level event in the future.

“I think you should be respectful of AI… We have to be open to all possibilities. These movies that are talking about AI — especially this one — do a really good job of showing both sides.”

Atlas, a Netflix film starring Lopez and actor Sterling K. Brown, is about a data analyst, Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), who deeply distrusts artificial intelligence. She joins a mission to capture a renegade robot that she shares a mysterious past with. Shepherd ultimately decides the only way to save humanity from AI is to trust it.

Atlas is currently streaming on Netflix. Watch the trailer below.
