Actress Anya Taylor-Joy graced the red carpet at the “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” movie premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old actress stunned in a glamorous, strapless champagne-colored Dior ball gown. She accessorized her look with diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co.
Taylor-Joy joined her costar, Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, on the second day of the Cannes Film Festival.
“I have very much been in her head,” Taylor-Joy said of her role as Furiosa in a behind-the-scenes featurette shared exclusively with People.com. “This character is so inspirational. She’s opened up a whole other universe for me.”
“When she sets her mind to something, that is it,” the actress explains. “Her refusal to go down, that is the only way through it. You have no idea who you are dealing with.”
Taylor-Joy also shared that she “put my whole body into this, utterly, at every level.”
Her co-star Chris Hemsworth agreed, saying, “Anya brought such a passion, such a depth. She is Furiosa.”
