American rapper Rick Ross was smacked around by Drake’s goons in Canada on Sunday. Drake, who is from Toronto, has beef with bite-sized American rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Rick Ross apparently took Kendrick’s side in the rap beef, which angered Drake’s thugs in Canada.
Those Toronto boys don’t play about their homegrown superstar Drake.
They confronted Rick in the backstage area following his performance on Sunday. After exchanging words, someone slapped Rick, he threw a drink, and a brawl ensued.
One of Rick’s security guards — a big burly fellow with dreads — was punched and stomped on the ground. Venue security broke up the melee. The bodyguard was groggy but uninjured.

Rick, who is seen wearing a green jersey, went over to check on his boys. That’s when fists flew again.
Another one of Rick’s security was knocked out cold and had to be carried away.
The message to American rappers is this: hire plenty of security when you travel to Drake’s country.
