Just weeks after Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DUI, the pop singer is opening a bar with golf legend Tiger Woods.

The news was first reported by the BBC. Timberlake and Woods (who was arrested for a DUI in 2017) are teaming up to open a bar called T-Squared Social in Scotland.

Timberlake and Woods are converting a movie theater into a bar offering “sports simulators, duckpin bowling, and darts, while retaining two cinema screens.”

The bar will employ around 40 to 45 locals in the St. Andrews area.

Woods, 48, previously said he and Timberlake came up with the idea while playing a round of golf at their real estate development in the Bahamas.

Woods and Timberlake have close ties to St. Andrews. Woods won the Open Championship in St. Andrews in 2000 and 2005, while Timberlake has golfed there several times.

Timberlake, 43, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons last month.

The pop superstar addressed his arrest during a sold out concert in Chicago, saying, “It’s been a tough week.”

The BBC reported that the application for the sports bar was submitted well before Timberlake’s arrest. But the liquor application was approved after his much-publicized arrest on June 17.
