Police in Pennsylvania were aware of a possible shooter at a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump on Saturday.

Cell phone video shows the 20-year-old shooter crawling on a rooftop 130 yards from where Trump was speaking.

Trump supporters alerted local police officers nearby.

An officer climbed up to the roof to get a better look. But he climbed back down when the shooter pointed his weapon at him. The officer then radioed for assistance.

The shooter opened fire seconds later with a high-powered AR-15 assault rifle.

Trump supporters believe the hand of God reached down and turned Trump’s head at the last second. But Trump would later say he turned his head to read a chart about immigration statistics.

Instead of a certain kill shot to his temple, the bullet only grazed Trump’s right ear. “I’m supposed to be dead,” he told a reporter on Sunday.

A Secret Service sniper killed the shooter. A bloody photo of the deceased shooter is circulating on social media.

According to reports, Trump asked for more Secret Service protection, but his request was denied.

Trump arrived Sunday in Milwaukee, where the Republican National Committee will kick off it’s four-day convention on Monday.

Security is tight, but the FBI announced Wisconsin is an open carry state and guns will be allowed inside.

“Local ordinances in the state of Wisconsin do not supersede state law,” Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson said at a press conference on Sunday.

Audrey Gibson-Cicchino, the U.S. Secret Service’s 2024 RNC Coordinator, announced that local police are responsible for the outer security zone.
