‘Billions’ actor Akili McDowell has been arrested and charged With murder in Houston, Texas. The 21-year-old TV star is seen in this official mugshot after being booked into jail, where he stands accused of gunning down Cesar Peralta, 20, in a parking lot on July 20. McDowell, who also appeared in ‘David Makes Man’ on OWN, is also charged with theft in relation to the alleged shooting. Harris County deputies reportedly responded to an incident in the parking lot of an apartment building where an adult male had “sustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.” Suspects had fled the scene. It has not been confirmed yet how McDowell was identified as a suspect and apprehended. His bond has been placed at 00,210 for both charges.
