Tickets for the U.S. tour have been removed from Ticketmaster and Live Nation websites.

Ms. Hill announced the North American tour cancellation on social media on Wednesday.

“With difficulty the decision was made to pull down our upcoming North American tour dates,” Hill wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Hill said the cancellation of the North American leg of the tour was due to, “some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales…”

“The shows in the UK and Europe ARE MOVING FORWARD as planned,” she added. “The audiences in the UK and Europe not only haven’t seen the Miseducation Anniversary performance yet, they also haven’t seen the Fugees perform together in over 25 years.”

She continued: “I appreciate your understanding. We’re looking forward to performing at the shows in the UK and Europe in October — and for our fans in North America, when those unforeseen circumstances are resolved, we’ll be back in full force… With Love, Respect and Honesty, MLH.”

The Fugees reunion tour in 2021 was postponed and then canceled in January 2022. Ticketmaster cited Covid-19 concerns for the cancellation.

Ms. Hill’s solo tours were also problematic. Fans complained that she showed up late – if at all. Some of Hill’s concert dates were abruptly canceled without a reason given.
