Angelina Jolie has found love following her divorce from American actor Brad Pitt in 2016. Jolie is reportedly dating biracial British rapper Akala.
Angelina and Akala were spotted together in Venice, Italy where Jolie attended the premiere of her upcoming movie “Maria” at the Venice Film Festival.
According to In Touch magazine, Angelina, 49, and Akala, 40, have been “casually” dating for “over a year.”
An insider tells In Touch that Angelina’s main concern was how Akala bonded with her six children.
Angelina is mom to daughter Shiloh, 18, twins Vivienne and Knox, 16, sons Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, and daughter Zahara, 19.
The insider said seeing how well Akala interacted with her children is part of what attracted Angelina to Akala.
“I think a large part of her attraction to Akala, beyond the physical, is seeing him interact with her kids because that is so important to her,” the insider said.
Akala is best known for his songs “Roll Wid Us”, “Carried Away” and “The Edge.” He was awarded Best Hip Hop Act at the MOBO Awards.
Akala is the younger brother of British rapper Ms. Dynamite, 43. Her hit song “Dy-Na-Mi-Tee” peaked at No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart in 2002.
