CEO killer Luigi Mangione is in the same Brooklyn jail as rap mogul Sean Combs, CNN reported. The two high-profile inmates will spend the Christmas holiday on the same VIP unit.

Mangione is accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan on December 4. He was extradited to New York City from Pennsylvania on Thursday and arraigned on federal charges. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.

Luigi faced a federal judge on Thursday, who told the 26-year-old Ivy League grad that he had the right to be released on bail. But, due to his federal charges, Luigi is not likely to be released on bond.

Luigi was then transported to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn — the same facility where rap mogul Sean Combs has been held since his arrest in September.

Luigi is represented by Karen Friedman Agnifilo — the wife of Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo.

A New York grand jury indicted Mangione on terrorism charges on Tuesday, December 17, in addition to first-degree murder. He also faces charges for possessing weapons and forged instruments.

The federal complaint against Luigi includes surveillance photos that show Mangione riding a bike toward the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan, where Thompson was killed on Dec. 4. The evidence also includes DNA, fingerprints, and a grey $300 backpack that he discarded in Central Park as he made his getaway.

Additionally, the complaint includes a photo of a “ghost gun,” a loaded 9mm pistol and silencer, similar to the weapon used in the shooting.

Mangione’s manifesto described “hostility towards the health insurance industry and wealthy executives in particular.”
