A 27-year-old father and husband took his own life a day after a Bikini Beans Coffee barista exposed him for not wearing pants in the drive-thru.

A family member confirmed Nautica Malone took his own life on Jan. 11 after the video went viral the day before.

In the footage, Malone is seen pulling up to the drive-thru window at the Bikini Beans Coffee in Tempe, where baristas wear only bikinis or daisy dukes shorts and crop tops.

A barista, who is seen in the car’s reflection holding a cell phone, asked Malone if he had visited the establishment before, and he said yes. When the barista noticed he wasn’t wearing pants, she immediately told Malone his behavior was “unacceptable.”

Malone quickly drove away, as the worker told a colleague to call 911.

Later, someone submitted the video to a moms support group on Facebook, warning women about the flasher. The person identified Malone and contacted his wife, Tori, who confirmed he took his own life.

Some users speculated that Malone was not new to this behavior, and that he was shamed into taking his own life when the video went viral.

Malone graduated from Central High School and was a former varsity swimmer, reports say. He and his wife welcomed their baby approximately a year ago.

In 2023, Raul Mena was arrested after he exposed himself to a barista in the drive thru at the McDowell Road and Pebble Creek Parkway location.

Police got Mena’s license plate number and tracked him to his home. Mena was charged with indecent exposure.
