Attorneys representing music mogul Sean Combs say his ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura “enjoyed” her “freak-off” encounters with male prostitutes.
Cassie is the only “victim” named in a federal indictment unsealed in NY in September.
Combs, 55, was arrested in Manhattan in September and charged with human trafficking and conspiracy. He is in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial in May.
Defense attorneys say evidence shows that Cassie “enjoyed” her encounters with various male prostitutes over the years.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the videos are not the “elaborate and produced sex performances” described by federal prosecutors in the indictment.
The attorneys said videos found on Cassie’s phone “confirm Mr. Combs’s innocence” because they show sexual activity among “consenting adults.”
Court documents show that Cassie kept the videos on her cell phone for years before turning them over to the feds. The videos were not seized from Combs’ home. Combs’ defense team say the videos are proof that Cassie wasn’t traumatized or abused. She was actually in charge of the encounters.
“Diddy’s attorneys say the tapes don’t show any evidence of violence, coercion, threats, manipulation, drug use, excessive alcohol consumption,” TMZ reported. “There is certainly no evidence of sex trafficking.”
The defense said Cassie appeared “happy, dominant, and fully in control” of the men in the videos.
“These videos unambiguously show that the person alleged in the indictment to be ‘Victim-I’ not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself,” the filing claims.
The attorneys say 9 videos that were on Cassie’s cell phone are characterized as “freak-off” parties by the prosecution. But no other celebrities are in the videos.
