Viola Davis stars as the gun-toting first Black female President of the United States in the movie “G20.”
Davis, 59, plays President Danielle Sutton, who fights back when terrorists take over the G20 Summit in South Africa.
Sutton uses her military experience to defend her family, and the world. G20 also stars Anthony Anderson as her husband, Derek Sutton, and Marsai Martin as the first daughter Serena Sutton. Actor Christopher Farrar plays her son Demetrius Sutton.
Davis’ real life husband Julius Tennon plays the CIA director.
Actor Antony Starr plays Rutledge, the bad guy terrorist who takes over the G20 summit. Rutledge and his team believe they have captured all of the world’s leaders, but they missed one — President Sutton.
Instead of waiting for help, Sutton springs into action and fights back with automatic weapons and grenades.
“I’m going to get you out of here,” Sutton promises her kids.
G20 is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and is set for release via Prime Video on April 10, 2025.
