Actor Jonathan Majors will have a difficult time finding an audience for his new movie, Magazine Dreams.
Jonathan is on a movie promo tour as he struggles to rebuild his public image following assault charges.
One of the stops on his movie promo tour was Sherri Shepherd’s talk show. Sherri broke down in tears after she watched an advanced screening of the movie.
Sherri became emotional because Jonathan’s character, Killian, reminded her of her special needs son, Jeffrey. “So to see you portray this character — it touched my heart. So that’s why I cry because you so beautifully portrayed this man,” she told Jonathan.

However, TikTok user SincerelyMaxxDotcom believes Jonathan is using the Black media to garner sympathy for himself. She also believes that his actions are “suspicious” and “psychologically abusive.”
Magazine Dreams is about an Autistic bodybuilder who is socially awkward and “moves differently in the world.”
Black TikTokers say Jonathan is on a “Black media Sympathy tour” to promote his new movie.

She went on to say that the difference between other Black starts who’ve fallen from grace like “Scandal’s” Columbus Short and “The Chi’s” Jason Mitchell is that they took a break from the spotlight to show they learned their lesson. But Jonathan, she alleges, is trying to make his comeback in a much shorter timeframe and he doesn’t care how it affects those closest to him.

TikTok user BonnetBusiness believes Jonathan is manipulating his new wife Meagan Good.
